With tomorrow being Thanksgiving, we should all take a break and realize all of the wonderful things we have to be thankful for. If you’re reading this then it probably means that you love being outdoors and you probably have bikes, camping gear, and lots of other gear for your outdoor adventures. Even though life can throw us curve balls at times, we’re getting outside to enjoy nature, and for that we should be truly grateful and thankful. Add in a few friends or family members to share our experiences and we end up with even more to be thankful for.
Take some time to step back from the day to day chaos. Reflect on the beauty nature provides us and the wonderful people we get to share that with. These simple things give us a tremendous amount to be thankful for.
Of course, the Black Friday and Christmas shopping craziness is just waiting to return even more chaos into our lives. But instead of participating in that mess, let’s all go outside and enjoy some fresh air. Let the crazy shopping world melt away and get replaced by some sweet singletrack or a quiet hiking trail. The shopping can wait.
